TREATMENT Treatment is tailored to the individual but for example someone running the marathon or wishing to take a part in a triathlon may have.Initial treatment of an hour (where training schedules and goals are discussed and a full body treatment/assessment is given). ½ hour massages every two weeks up to the event working through potential problems, sore/ tight/ tired muscles to maximise training and performance. pre-event massage the day before or even the morning of the event to prepare muscles and minimise chance of injury post event massage to flush out metabolic waste build up massage one week after the event to address any arising issues continuing check ups every four to six weeks until next event. |
