Nutritional Therapy

Life expectancy is now higher than ever because of the reduced incidence of infectious diseases, but it could be even higher, and quality of life much better .  We are now more prone to chronic diseases – heart disease, cancer and diabetes, which are largely preventable with diet and lifestyle changes.

Good nutrition is the foundation for optimum health, although many people in the UK do not meet their recommended intake of vitamins and minerals.  This is mainly due to poor food choice.

A nutritional consultation will take up to an hour, where questions will be asked about your current symptoms, your general health and in the past.

You will be asked to fill in a diet diary prior to your consultation, and this will be analysed to see what may be causing or aggravating your problem, or which foods should be included in your diet, which will help bring you to your optimum level of nutrients.

Vitamin, mineral and herb supplement may be suggested also, if it is felt that you need extra help to achieve optimum nutrition.
